iPodMods disassembled Zune and gives us a howto tutorial. This is definitely a dont-do-this-at-home. They say you can even now take the Zune's 30 GB hard disk out and replace it with a 40 GB one. 60GB or 80GB disks are also possible but in the cost of leaving your Zune's back panel open.

I should try this with my 500Gb external HDD. That would be awesome. I know, it would be huge, but nonetheless awesome.
